Hank calls a clinic to book a doctor's appointment.
R= Receptionist H= Hank
R: You've reached Dr. Lee's office. How can I help you?
H: I'd like to make an appointment.
R: OK. May I have your name and phone number, please?
H: My name is Hank Williams, and my number's 0912-345-781.
R: How about 7 p.m. tomorrow?
H: That'll work.
R: Wonderful. See you tomorrow at 7 p.m.
H: OK, thanks. See you then.
2. Describing Symptoms
The doctor is ready to see Hank.
D= Doctor H= Hank
D: What seems to be the problem today?
H: I've had a runny nose and sore throat for a couple of days.
D: Any cough or fever?
H: No fever, but it hurts to swallow. I guess I have coughed a little bit. I thought it was just because my throat was dry.
D: Say "Aah."
H: Aah. (Clears throat) Aah.
D: There's some inflammation. It looks like a viral infection. You'll likely start coughing up yellow or green sputum within the next couple of days. If your sputum is pink or red, get to a hospital immediately. I'll give you something for your sore throat and cough.

2. 描述症狀

醫師：有咳嗽或發燒嗎？
漢克：沒有發燒，但吞嚥會痛。我想我有點咳嗽。我以為只是因為喉嚨乾的關係。
醫師：說「啊」。
漢克：啊。（清喉嚨）啊。
醫師：有點發炎。看起來是病毒感染。接下來幾天你很可能會咳出黃色或綠色的痰。如果你的痰是粉紅色或紅色的話，就要立刻到醫院。我會給你一些喉嚨痛跟咳嗽的藥。
